Rain, a stablecoin infrastructure provider, has secured $250 million in Series C funding at a $2 billion valuation. The round was led by ICONIQ Growth with participation from Sapphire Ventures, Dragonfly, Bessemer Venture Partners, Lightspeed Venture Partners, and Galaxy Digital.

The capital will fuel global expansion across five continents as the company prepares for increasing regulatory scrutiny of stablecoins. "Markets are finally establishing clear frameworks for stablecoin infrastructure, blockchain protocols, and digital asset custody," said CEO Yehia Badawy.

Rain plans to aggressively pursue licenses in new jurisdictions, leveraging fresh funding to accelerate regulatory engagements. The company currently enables stablecoin-linked Visa card issuance in 150+ countries, serving as critical financial infrastructure in regions with volatile national currencies.
